The newcomers I am introducing you to this week are the emcee producer duo from Tufts, Timeflies. Rob and Cal are from New Jersey and New York, respectively, and joined forces when they met at school in Boston. Timeflies says that by "using elements of pop, hip-hop, electro, dubstep, and rock, [they] aim to escape genre limitations." They do just that and more with their diverse collection of songs.

I really like this group. I think that Cars, Money and Fame is my favorite song of theirs but there certainly are other great ones. I think that their music is pretty unique and you're right to say that it escapes genre limitations.
