Hip-hop artists are all about sampling. They take some of the most obscure music and change it to make it their own. Recently, I've come across two different songs that sample Ron Pope's "A Drop In The Ocean." I had never heard Ron Pope's original song before I heard these two hip-hop songs, but I loved the sample so much that I had to download his track. Hearing the original it is amazing how producers can take a song so different from their style and create something new and fresh.
